It Takes a village

Volunteer

Be a Furvivors caretaker!

  • Donate your time to help care for the horses and farm animals at the Wonderland. If only a few hours weekly or monthly, it will make a world of difference to the abused, neglected and abandoned souls we are rehabilitating towards their best life.

There are many things volunteer caretakers can do for the animals. We find that a lot of our residents have been shorted the necessary human contact, love and affection they so deserve. This is where our volunteers are most needed.

No experience, no problem. Only a desire to help nurture the resident ‘Furvivors‘ to the next chapter of their best life is needed. Be here for them!

There is always plenty to do around the farm like stacking hay, filling water buckets, light grooming, cleaning stalls, tack and equipment, walking and exercising horses (for the more horsey experienced) and being an Ambassador at our community events and fundraisers.

We also need help with behind-the-scenes tasks that can be completed virtually;
  – Social Media Content Assistant
  – Photography
  – Donor Management
  – Admin Support
  – Event Planning, Manager
  – Grant Writing
  – Community Outreach
  – Volunteer Coordinator Assistant
  – Marketing and CRM

Safe, engaging interaction with the animals is essential. For them and their caretakers. If you aren’t comfortable working with the animals, there are other ways you can help in their caretaking, in person, boots on the ground. We promise there is something for everyone.

Please be responsible, reliable, committed and have a valid drivers license.  We are a working farm, with many tasks to be completed every day, rain or shine, so a strong work ethic and team outlook is appreciated.

Take the first step to joining us at Furvivors. Complete the form below, or send us an email with your interest to [email protected]

We look forward to meeting you and becoming part of the Furvivors family!
