It Takes a village

Volunteer

Be a Furvivors caretaker!

Donate your time to help care for the horses and farm animals at the Wonderland. If only a few hours weekly or monthly, it will make a world of difference to the abused, neglected and abandoned souls we are rehabilitating towards their best life.

There are many things volunteer caretakers can do for the animals. We find that a lot of our residents have been shorted the necessary human contact, love and affection they so deserve. This is where our volunteers are most needed.

No experience, no problem. Only a desire to help nurture the resident ‘Furvivors‘ to the next chapter of their best life is needed. Be here for them!

There is always plenty to do around the farm like stacking hay, filling water buckets, light grooming, cleaning stalls, tack and equipment, walking and exercising horses (for the more horsey experienced) and being an Ambassador at our community events and fundraisers.

We also need help with a lot of behind the scenes tasks like social media, photography, writing thank you notes, admin tasks, etc.  Most importantly, safe, engaging interaction with the animals is most essential.

Our caretakers are hands-on. We ask that you be responsible, reliable, committed and have a valid drivers license.

Please complete the form below, or send us an email with your interest to rescue@furvivors.org. You may also contact us by telephone at 215-460-8766.

We look forward to meeting you and becoming part of the Furvivors family!
